To 'Claim' a Study Room
- Two SMU students must present their ID cards at the Circulation Desk, just prior to the start time of the reservation, in order to 'claim' the Study Room (one being the student who booked the room).
- The reservation will be verified and a 'Claim Slip' for each reserved hour will be printed.
- The students should retain these slips for the duration of their Study Room session, as confirmation of their reservation.
The patron can view all his bookings by going to the 'My Library Account' tab and then clicking on 'Bookings'. Details can be viewed by clicking on the highlighted number.
Alternatively, a study room can also be booked by searching through the Online Novanet Catalogue.
From the main Novanet search page, click on 'Titles' and enter 'SMU Study Room'.
You will be taken to a 'Browse List' from which you can select the Study Room you would like to book.
Click on SMU Study Room ' # ' (whichever room you would like to reserve).
Next, click on 'SMU Booking'.
You will be taken to the Study Room's record. From here, just click on 'Book This'.
You will be asked to login, if you are not already. You will then be taken to the 'Availability Grid' screen. From here, you can continue following the previous instructions.
