Preparing Documents
Patrons must photocopy the following types of paper before they can be fed through the fax machine:
· wrinkled or creased paper
· curled or rolled paper
· torn paper
· coated paper
· carbon paper or carbon-backed paper
· onion skin or thin paper
· paper of different (unconventional) weights or sizes
Place the document to be faxed face up in the tray on top of the fax machine. Dial the appropriate number using the procedure described in the next section. The fax will automatically feed the document page by page.
Watch that too many pages are not being fed through at the same time. Sometimes the fax will grab two pages at the same time and will result in one of the pages not being transmitted.
