Finding a Title
You can find a title in two ways:
1) Enter the title in the top left hand corner next to the top ‘Title’ field.
If you get a message saying “Multiple records found” click OK. Find the right title from the
list. You can usually tell by the year that it starts. Double click on the title.
Or
- If you are having problems finding a title, check on Novanet to see what it says about the title, and follow the instructions in the second option.
Or
2) You can search the title in Novanet and get one of the B- barcodes or a barcode of any
volume after 1996 (which should be done for every title on the shelves).
- Copy the barcode and paste it in the Aleph menu, changing the drop down menu to ‘Issue Barcode’.
- It is best to search Novanet under Journals only. Select “Title begins with…” from the left hand menu, enter the title in the search field, and click ‘Go’.
