Address Search
You may find that you need to look up a patron's address. This search is required if:
To look up a patron's address:
- You need to contact a patron, but they have moved and not given the library a current address.
- You are looking for a patron's 'A' number, but you find more than one patron with the same name.
To look up a patron's address:
- Go to Banner. If it is not open already, follow the instructions at the beginning of this section.
- Click on the 'Address Summary' and enter the patron's 'A' number in the 'ID' box.
- You can also do a person search in this screen by clicking on the arrow next to the 'ID' box, if you need to confirm an 'A' number when there is more than one student with the same name.
- When you get to the screen with the patron names, double click on the 'A' number, and it will take you to the address screen for that patron.
- When confirming an 'A' number, check the address on the Student ID form filled out by the patron.
- Click 'Next Block' or 'Ctrl Page Down' to access the patron's record. The screen should look something like the following:
- If you need to search for another address, click on the 'Rollback' button on the toolbar.
- When you are finished, click on the 'x' on the 'Person Search' window or use 'Ctrl Q'. You will now be back at the Registration Query screen.
