Access Services Calendar
Our Access Service calendar is most commonly viewed on our blog, but how can we make changes and additions when this is just a read only version of the calendar?
The calendar you see on the blog is actually getting all its information from our Gmail account. To access the Gmail account:
- Changes and additions are only to be done by the full time staff members.
The calendar you see on the blog is actually getting all its information from our Gmail account. To access the Gmail account:
- Go to www.gmail.com and sign in, if you are not already signed in to the Access Services blog.
- User Name: smu.circ2
- Password: ssecca2
- Click the 'Sign In' button.
- You will then see a number of links along the top of the page. Click on Calendar.
- You should now see the original calendar.
- It usually pops up showing the weekly tab, but you can change that to view the entire month by clicking the Month tab along the top of the calendar.
To add a new event to the calendar, just click on the appropriate date (when on the Month tab) and fill in your event.
To make changes to an event that has already been posted, click on the event, then click on Edit event details, make your changes, and click on the Save button.
To delete an event, right click on the event and click 'Delete'.

- To give more details, click on 'Edit event details'.
- When finished, click the 'Save' button (if you added more details) and you will automatically return to the calendar where your event will show.
To make changes to an event that has already been posted, click on the event, then click on Edit event details, make your changes, and click on the Save button.
To delete an event, right click on the event and click 'Delete'.
If you are already signed in to the Access Services blog, you can access the calendar by:
- Clicking on the New Post link across the top of the page.
- Click on the Dashboard link across the top of this new page.
- Along the right hand side of the page you will see a link to 'My Account'.
- When you are on the Google Accounts page, click on Calendar. You should now see the Access Services calendar.
