The Copier 'Proper'
The most common use of the copier is to make copies from books or bound journals. First, activate the control panel:
- In order to activate the control panel, the patron must insert either a copy card in the card reader or coins in the coin slot. Having activated the control panel by paying for the copy, decide how many copies to make by entering the required number in the keyboard.
- The copier will default automatically to one copy, if no selection is made on the keyboard.
To make a copy, the exposure glass must be used. One way to do so is by raising the
exposure glass cover:
